Nutritious Meal Plan Intervention for Vulnerable Mothers and Children (NUMEPLAN)
Project Launch: 12-12-19
With the support of World Connect, the Lagos Food Bank will launch a project called Nutritious Meal Plan Intervention for Vulnerable Mothers and Children. In order to combat chronic malnutrition and promote health among children and mothers, the organization will assess each participant and match them with different tailored meal and support plans. They will have weekly visits to the Primary Health Care Center so that medical professionals can monitor their progress and support them in the prevention of disease and malnutrition. Participants will receive training on how to make healthy food choices on a budget and how to incorporate an active lifestyle into their routines.
