Renovation of Nursery and Kindergarten Classrooms and Training of Teachers in the Ningo-Prampram District of Ghana

The Parents and Teachers Association of Bethel School Complex in the Ningo-Prampram district seeks to use $4,977.27 in investment from World Connect to rehabilitate a kindergarten and nursery block at the school. The major project activities will include the installation of a new roof on the structure, painting, procurement of fifty (50) tables and chairs and teaching and learning aids for use by students and teachers. Furthermore, the project will train early childhood teachers from all preschools in the Ningo-Prampram district on improved teaching and learning methodologies for children in the kindergarten level of education. The community is confident that the project will enhance provision of quality education that will be vital in their transition to primary education.
