Broilers chicken and Chicken feed Project
Project Launch: 1-24-24
To tackle the unemployment challenge in Rubavu district and the shortage of chicken meat in Rubavu all being excerbated by the insecurity in the neighbouring DRC, youth in Rubavu district have decided to venture into broiler chicken farming. A grant from World Connect will help them to buy day-old chicks and chicken feed, they will raise them and feed them, and sell them to the local community for income. Since majority if the youth are also experts in livestock management by training, they will be using their poultry farm as a demonstration to other local residents and local poultry farmers how to keep healthy chicken using less chemicals.
