Chikwina Primary school desk project
Project Launch: 7-18-22
Chikwina Chipayika Village Development Committee will facilitate the production of 50 desks for Chikwina Primary School in Chikwina village, T/A Mnyaluwanga Nkhata Bay district. Increasing the number of desks at Chikwina Primary School will help in reducing the student-desk ratio which is currently at four to one. Additionally, the student's absenteeism rate which is very high especially during harsh weather seasons as some learners sit on the floor due to insufficiency of desks is also expected to decrease. 106 students from standards 1 and 2 will use the desks once stocked in the classes.
