Latrine Expansion in Dassilame Soce
Project Launch: 11-5-19
The proposed project has two main goals: To build 35 private latrines and to promote hygiene and sanitation practices among latrine recipients through mandatory courses and home visits. The overall objective of the project is to increase access to clean water and improved sanitation and to encourage villagers to adopt good WASH behaviors and practices. Each targeted household will provide labor and a small monetary fund as a contribution. Participating schools will not be expected to raise the money, but will be expected to dig their own pits.
