Girls' Dormitory
Project Launch:
At Sadani Secondary School, the majority of students commute long distances, usually on dangerous unmarked paths, leading to sexual assault and unintended pregnancy. To combat this issue, a girls’ dormitory was built to house 75 students, but due to high demand, it’s at double the capacity, forcing girls to share beds or even sleep on the floor. This project will construct an additional girls’ dormitory to comfortably fit 100 students, half of which will move from the overcrowded dorm. As a result of this project, more girls will be provided with a safe, protecting, comfortable, boarding environment, allowing them to focus on their education.
