Empowering Women and teen mothers through Fashion design skills
Project Launch: 2-8-24
This project will focus on enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of 60 women and 40 teen mothers from Nzige sector in Rwamagana district of eastern Province to reduce poverty and vulnerability by equipping them with necessary practical skills that help them to make a living, reduce exposure to gender based violence and prostitution. They will be trained on practical skills of tailoring, trainings on small income generating activities, and facilitated to create financial saving groups to boost their economy for the welfare of their families. Funding for this project will be used to purchase 15 sewing machines that these women will use to learn tailoring.
