Cambio Solar is a solar workforce training program, green entrepreneurship accelerator, and future cooperative solar installer on a mission to create access to clean energy jobs, utilities savings through community solar projects, and green cooperative and businesses ownership for NYC’s most economically and environmentally vulnerable community members. The Cambio Solar Pilot Program at Mott Haven Houses in the South Bronx, will activate the NYCHA Community Center as a dedicated learning hub and community space, delivering comprehensive training in solar installation and business, and green entrepreneurship.  Program participants will meet with solar practitioners and trainers, and gain the skills and certifications to find employment in the emerging clean energy sector or to launch their own solar businesses and cooperatives. Through using Journey, Cambio Labs' gamified learning platform, participants will also learn how to leverage technology and AI to enhance their job and entrepreneurial readiness.
