Building a Sustainable Beekeeping Community.
Project Launch: 1-24-24
Funding for this project will support a beekeeping cooperative (COOPAN) in Rusizi district of Rwanda to construct a house that will serve as a honey harvesting, storage and processing space for the cooperative. Additional equipment necessary for improved beekeeping and honey processing will also be acquired. this will help the cooperative to meet the required quality standards so that they are able to take their honey produce and other bees products to the formal market and earn more income.
