Making Crafts with Recycled Materials (Elaboración de Artesanías con Materiales Reciclados)
Project Launch: 12-31-24
Seven women and their families have created a collective to convert recycled materials into handicrafts to create an income for their families’ livelihoods, while promoting community respect for nature, decreasing local environmental pollution of streams and public places, and mitigating overfilled landfills. Women will be trained in handling raw material to make indoor and outdoor home decor. They will implement a marketing plan with local plant nurseries to distribute their products.
