Interior and Exterior Adaptation of La Bocatoma Housing Modules, Intended for Community Tourism Use (Adecuación Interior y Exterior de Módulos Habitacional La Bocatoma, Destinados para el Uso Turístico Comunitario)
Project Launch: 12-31-24
This association consists of 27 members (both men and women) who are dedicated to páramo (highlands) preservation, entrepreneurial activities, community tourism, and trout farming. The community tourism project will generate adequate interior and exterior furnishing of the La Bocatoma Community Cabins, an INPC-funded infrastructure project. Through the design, building and installation of basic furniture and furnishings necessary to complete the cabins, the project will be able to fully operate and accommodate tourists who regularly visit the place. The secondary goal of this project is to provide carpentry and wool craft workshops to women, men, girls, and boys, to build skills and create alternative forms of income.
